Financial Contributions

A financial contribution is the most versatile type of assistance, since it can be used immediately when a need arises. Your donations are tax-deductible and can be used for operating costs, client assistance, shelter supplies, and other needs.

If you are able, recurring payments are a great way to keep the shelter receiving money all year long! Thank you for any amount you are able to give.

To make a donation, a check can be mailed to:

Donated Goods
Donations of paper products, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, diapers/wipes, and toiletries are always needed and greatly appreciated. Many items are used at the house during our clients stay. Some items help when our clients transition to permanent housing. When we are able to help furnish a client's home, it limits the stress on the families and increases their overall success.

Cleaning Supplies
Dish soap, laundry soap, all-purpose sprays, sanitizing wipes, garbage bags, scrub brushes, etc. are helpful to keep the expenses to run our houses low.

Personal Care Items
Clients receive their own starter bag of personal items upon entry. We can always use the personal sized shampoos and soaps often found in hotels. We also need large sizes for continual use. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, combs, brushes, etc. are all appreciated. Personal items for children are also needed.

Clothing
We take clothing for all ages and sizes. Our biggest need is men's and women's sizes, but we do have children as our clients as well. Jeans, leggings, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. are always good choices. Seasonal boots, shoes, coats, and hats are welcome.

Furniture
We do take furniture and home goods in good condition, to help furnish homes for clients when they move into their own housing.

Living room furniture (couch and chairs), twin sized mattress/box spring sets, dressers, curtains and curtain rods, pillows, bedding, towels, lamps and lamp shades, kitchen table and chairs, silverware, dishes and cookware, TVs, microwaves, home decor, etc. are all part of what we hope to have to furnish homes when they transition.
